About me

I was born with a pencil in my hand. Or so it seems. From an early age I was drawn to the world of art and captivated by the idea of capturing life’s moments on paper. While my childhood doodles were mere scribbles, they were the humble beginnings of a lifelong passion.

I was born with a pencil in my hand. Or so it seems. From an early age I was drawn to the world of art and captivated by the idea of capturing life’s moments on paper. While my childhood doodles were mere scribbles, they were the humble beginnings of a lifelong passion.

Unveiling a Talent

As I grew older, my artistic abilities evolved. I experimented with various mediums and techniques, always striving to improve my skills. But coloured pencils remained my emotion. However, it was long ago when I had my first professional artist coloured pencils set and one day just said to myself “What if I draw a portrait of my St. Bernard dog?” And that’s how everything began.

A Portrait’s Power

I showed this portrait to my family and close friends who knew my giant fur pal. They were impressed from my very first try and I realized that my artistic skills had the power to preserve memories, evoke emotions and capture the essence of a beloved companion. That experience fuelled the pursue a career as an artist specializing in coloured pencil pet portraits based on clients’ photos.

Paving My Path

To further refine my craft, I enrolled in several art courses with famous artists, where I immersed myself in the study of realism, sketching techniques, and the importance of capturing a subject’s spirit. Through countless hours of practice and dedication, I began to establish my unique style – bringing pets to life on paper, one stroke at a time.

The Commission Journey

Word spread my talent, and soon commissions began pouring in. Each client entrusted me with cherished memories and their furry friends., sharing photos that captured moments of joy, love, and companionship. With every new project, I dive into the stories behind the photographs, seeking to capture the unique personalities of each pet.

A Portrait, A Connection

Working on a pet portraits became more than a job – it became a connect with people on a deeper level. I would often receive heartfelt letters from clients, expressing their gratitude for immortalizing their pets’ memories in pencil. These connections fuelled my artistic fire and pushed me to continually hone my skills.

Nowadays together with pet portraits I’m an art teacher and a member of UKCPS.

With every portrait I create, I aim to evoke joy and the unmistakable essence of each pet. My pencil dances across the paper, breathing life into each stroke, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion with the world."
